Chano Garcia age about 32 shot through the heart while walking with companions on Second Street near 1715 South Second. He died instantly. Police sought Florencio Rodriguez, later identified as suspect, as Pasquel Chavez and others were detained. Rodriguez, a native of Old Mexico, is about 40 and employed in local shops.

Denver police report two youthful armed bandits entered the A. R. B. Drug company in the downtown area this afternoon. They bound an employee named Morey Same son and rifled the cash register, taking about $165 in cash.

Man Dies After Being Struck by Freight Train in Bernalillo
