Few Liberal members of the Asquith administration are expected to serve under Lloyd George as the new cabinet forms. The question of who will join the ministry remains the chief interest in English political circles.
London reports David Lloyd George formally accepts the post and begins selecting a cabinet. He aims for a balanced ministry with unionists liberals and possibly labor. a war council may form and a vote of credit tests the new government’s strength.
The Day in Congress met at noon and resumed debate on the corrupt practices bill. Discussion included Hoke Smith's bill for retirement age of federal judges at 70. William J. Bryan urged broader federal railroad regulation before the joint railroad investigating committee. Adjourned at 3:38 p.m. until noon Saturday. Secretary Baker urged diverting Niagara Falls waters to the American side before the foreign affairs committee. Consideration of the omnibus fish hatcheries bill resumed and adjourned at 2:42 p.m. to noon Saturday.

Rabbits are promoted as a table delicacy with new rabbit sausage to lower living costs.
A mixed passenger and freight train collided with a freight train one mile west of Price at 16 Weleck this morning. Two men were killed and six injured. The dead are Tony Verda of Helper and William Wallace of Cameron, both listed among the workers on the scene.

New York reports all crew of the Italian steamship Palermo saved after the vessel was torpedoed and sunk off the Spanish coast. A Madrid dispatch says one sailor, possibly American, died of wounds in hospital and three others were seriously injured. The ship carried several horse traders onboard.
Paso, Texas December 7 Guillermo Snyman son of the late General W D Snyman Boer war fame was shot and killed by Villa bandits at his ranch near San Pablo de Meoqui He owned an alfalfa ranch between Santa Rosalia and Chihuahua City His father died recently in Philadelphia where another son lives Two of his sons reside in Campeche Mexico and another son G C Snyman left for Philadelphia A sister in Chamberino NM feared news of his death and said she had heard nothing for two months
