Christian Heim aged 61 a Bavarian native and resident for five years hanged himself to a bed post in Lovisville Kentucky today. The incident follows a string of violent deaths and a chaotic scene as investigators look into three murderers who killed a Texan and a mixed set of local deaths prompting an official inquiry.
Indian Territory reports the capture of three murderers Walker Reynolds and Gardner near Darlington after a sharp struggle. They had murdered a young man in Comanche county Texas, with officers in pursuit for two weeks.
A Harlem bound freight from Roson to Port Chester derailed at 7 this morning after a switch failure. Twenty cars left the track and were demolished with the locomotive badly damaged. The engineer jumped to a snow covered bank while two brakemen fell thirty feet to the ground but survived. Desven, Co. reports. Also Denyiy & New Orleans appoints G.E. Fisher as general manager, praising his rail road leadership and suitability for construction work.

Loviville Kentucky Dec 1 A report says WH McBrayer Anderson countys whisky man will sue firms in New York Philadelphia Chicago St Louis Cincinnati and others for using the McBrayer brand on compounded whiskies and misrepresenting it as genuine Anderson county Kentucky whisky. If suits proceed they will expose large firms and shake up the trade.

Reports from Canso on December 1 describe the steamer Cedar Grove wreck with twenty six lives saved and at least five missing. The captain and a lady reportedly perished as the bow sank. A Halifax dispatch notes the schooner from the area sunk by the steamer Liddisdale with crew saved at North Sidney.

Montpelier Vermont December 1 air brakes failed causing a branch train to strike the Hostuu Express. The palace car conductor and two passengers were injured and two or three cars were badly damaged.
The body of a man identified as Tohoun Disson of Mount Carmel U S appears in a woods near North Topeka with a bullet hole in the skull. Law enforcement notes a cash bail set at 1500 for W D Hoyt who shot J B Batley. Hoyt’s father Rev F S Hoyt of the Christian Advocate in Cincinnati accompanies him.
In Arkadelphia on December 1 a clumsy kick from a vicious colt fatally injures Rev. Henry Orr of Daleyville. Local authorities report the accident occurred during handling at a rural farm. Orr was a visiting clergyman known in regional church circles.
News from across the seas reports Sanfret Pasha named initiator of foreign affairs in Constantinople with Dec 1 dispatches. France reportedly plans a demand on England over Egypt control while Paris mentions a sword duel involving Andrinx later. London notes Phoens crew dismissed after a navigational error near Prince Edward Island.
