One hundred federals were killed or wounded in the engagement and forty four were taken prisoners casualty on the constitutionalist side were insignificant it was reported.

Scrymier of the Mexican Telegraph Company to protest to President Wilson against withdrawing American citizens from Mexico. The telegram says the move would injure Mexico's colony and cause tremendous damages while the colony remains peaceful and productive. It notes the Mexican government is constitutional and that the American colony is numerous, valued, and well integrated in Mexican life.
