Charles G. Dawes Republican vice presidential candidate spent two hours in Plymouth Vermont with President Coolidge, discussing agriculture and government business. Dawes declined to answer about the Kian question and said to ask the President, while posing for photographers and meeting reporters.

The Dawes plan awaits ratification by French and German parliaments and signature of the agreement, which remains only ministerial.
Professor Alion 4A. V Yeung of Harvard University warned that the cost of living in the United States will increase by about 16 percent due to low interest rates. Yeung, an economist and former head of the statistical section of the American peace commission, spoke at Williams town.

East Lake City reports organized efforts by the Intermediate Rate Association to push the Gooding long and short haul bill through the House in December. Secretary A.
