Oil Struck At Ellsworth Gas Lease. Wells Flow

On Friday morning several sailors aboard an anchored vessel told Executive Officer Everett they saw the Gate City wreck. They reported only part of the main mast and smoke stack above water and said the ship could be raised, noting its value.
