Grant County commissioners allocate 500 to collect and preserve specimens of products for exhibition at the fair. Enthusiasm runs high as residents back the proposition to showcase local goods and industry.
Kant county becomes the eighteenth to appropriate for an Albuquerque state fair exhibit. The county commission voted 2 to 1 to allocate 500 dollars for a county resources display with Judge M. W. Porterfield named chair of the exhibit committee. Local mining interests and officials urged the appropriation as private company displays were expected to follow.
Union county officials approved a county wide exhibit plan for the state fair. The exhibit will be a complete car load display, with Union county aiming to win prize money and showcase resources. Colonel Sellers will organize an Albuquerque auto show at the fair featuring local dealers and state participants in a dedicated building near the grounds entrance.
