Oxford Massachusetts August 17 Captain David Barton and wife Julia Barton were reinterred by Undertaker Wheelock at Clara Barton’s cemetery lot. Mrs Barton’s body had become petrified while Captain Barton’s coffin soil crumbled. Mrs Barton was buried July 1899. Captain Barton weighed 275 pounds, casket rotted but body firm and marble like.
