The independents allied with anti Patterson Democrats are expected to support the ticket against the regular Democrat nominee Patterson.
Denver August 16. William A. Orton head of the beet sugar bureau says the government will set up an Arkansas valley station for experimental work to teach farmers heat methods to raise beet sugar content. A site is not yet fixed. A second station will follow in Northern Colorado.
