City legal adviser handles a crowded session tackling meat inspection street paving delinquent sidewalks and troublesome acequias. The meeting centers on enforcement issues budget implications and coordination with departments and community groups.

Five Hyde children die in a collision near Frisbee station as train No. 811 strikes their wagon while en route to church. Victims include LESLE, JUDA, JESSE, SUSIE, and CHARLES HYDE, ages 24 to 26, all from A. A. Hyde's farm family.
In Keifer Oklahoma two robbers surprised while looting the State Bank shot and killed City Marshal Inford s and probably fatally wounded cashier Jeerg Webling. The men escaped as pursuit formed after the incident.
