Richart Queen, companion of Tom Craig, helped attempt a gold theft near Magdalena. Craig was killed. Queen was wounded and later arrested by Deputy Lopez, after fleeing Navajo lands and confessing to the crime. The plot centered on a buried treasure and a woman linked to the tragedy.
