A bankruptcy schedule filed in Heston Massachusetts shows the Heston Cerrillos Mining Company with liabilities totaling 58 5 six and 110 unsecured creditors. There are no listed assets. Creditors include Boston firms and individuals and western firms such as Mendrie Bolthart Denver for 1582, Albuquerque Cerrillos Coal for 1726, and Montoya Bros Cerrillos for 1504 in merchandise.
A 48 foot long saurian skeleton was found in the Chalk Cliffs near Sharon Springs. Professor J. Martin of the University of Kansas and students will excavate the bones, said to be among the most complete skeletons ever found.
Mrs. Pacifico Baldasarri suffered severe burns when a gasoline stove ignited her clothing and set the two room adobe ablaze at 608 North Twelfth Street. Mrs Runyan offered The Ideal Woman of New Mexico and a chalk talk by Elwood Albright drew laughter. The audience filled the auditorium for speeches, a band concert, and a lively program.
Kermit Roosevelt and guides began a hunting expedition in the Pinacate mountains about 150 miles southeast of Yuma. The party includes Charles Ylling a former Rough Rider Winn Proebster and two Mexican guides. They planned to travel to Welton then by horse and expect to be away two to four weeks.
