Marion Ohio August 7 AP. Officials announce detailed funeral plans approved by Mrs Harding. The body arrives by Big Four Thursday August 9 about 1 o clock, transfers at Crestline, to Dr G T Harding's home. A funeral train from Washington carries Captain Adolphus Andrews Major Baldinger and honorary pallbearers. The body lies in state August 9 from 2 to 6 pm and August 10 from 9 am to 1 pm. Funeral cortege forms at 2 pm August 10 for Marion cemetery services led by Rev George Landis and Rev Jesse Swank. President Coolidge expected to head home after services. Mrs Harding leaves for Washington Friday evening.

Bernalillo Curry and McKinley counties were ordered by the tax commission to raise land and livestock valuations to mortgage and transfer values on record. Man dies after self inflicted gunshot wounds in Albuquerque
W G Thompson, 622 South High, died in hospital after shooting himself in the right temple with a 58 caliber pistol following a domestic quarrel with his wife. An inquest will be held. Thompson, about 35, was chief engineer at Albuquerque Ice. He survived by his wife and three children.

A severe rain burst in Globe Arizona dumped 1.40 inches in 30 minutes at 4 PM flooding streets and turning Pinal creek into a torrent. Damage to Globe Foundry and Machine Company plant and nearby properties is estimated at 3000 dollars, with sand deliveries ruined and several homes flooded.
