320 Acre State Land Sold Near Albuquerque
A 320 acre tract of mesa land east of Albuquerque sold at public auction to the New Mexico university for 12.75 dollars per acre. State Land Commissioner Justiniano Baca announced the sale, with a dozen bidders present. The tract is SS land and cannot be sold for less than the stated price.

Man Wanted Two Years for Murder Satterfield Arrested
J B Satterfield, once of Albuquerque, sought since December 27 1921 for allegedly murdering his brother in law Fr H Hart in Atlanta Georgia has been arrested in Long Beach California by detectives aided by Charles H Kern a former US marshal. Kern traced Satterfield via hotel records and learned his daughters had traveled to California prompting police to seize him. Hart a 44 year old Georgia Tech graduate and designer of the New Mexico battleship wiring died in Atlanta after a dispute over a will leaving Hart’s estate to his sisters and guardians. Satterfield aged about 42 was a former carpenter. The case drew a large reward.
