Clyde A. White a 37 year old Tacoma traveling salesman is shot and killed by J Templeton a Spokane salesman. Templeton then fatally shoots himself. Police say the killings stem from an estranged wife whose photo was found on both men. The wife was with White’s brother Frank L. White nearby. Templeton had traveled to Tacoma seeking reconciliation. The wife fainted upon finding the scene.
Refugees from various parts of Mexico will soon depart by Santa Fe routes for settlements at Holbrook and Pine River Ariz Farmington, Joseph City, Salt River Valley, and Salt Lake City.
