A Phoenix dispatch dated October 24 reports a federal grand jury returning indictments against members of the lumber, meat and Ice trusts. Indicted individuals include W. B. Lount, S. J. Triboulet, H. P. Demand, H. W. Ryder, P. T. Hurley, and several companies. Indictments charge entering contracts and combinations in restraint of trade and commerce. Judge Kent said the cases will be public and defendants may appear voluntarily to enter pleas. United States Attorney J Alexander leads the action.
