Santa Fe considers its own fair next year
The New Mexican reports Santa Fe may organize a Santa Fe Fair and Driving association to promote a year after year fair. Sixteen capital business leaders met Judge N B Laughlin to discuss fair grounds sites near the city. A preferred tract beyond the Indian training school would host a half mile track and park, with water access and city reach. The site’s proximity to a water main offers savings on sprinkling pipes and a fire plug precaution.
