The mystery of William Dodican's death on the plains near White Oaks is resolved. A sister in Watertown New York dated October 2 informs Sheriff Owen that she seeks any papers and property found with the body and references the El Paso Herald account. The notice includes unrelated advertisements on witch hazel salve and local procurement for infirmary work and embroidery materials.
