Browns Beat Santa Fe In Wide Open Baseball Tilt

In Traction Park yesterday about 1,000 fans watched the Browns edge Santa Fe 8 to 7 in a heated national game. Richardson started for the Browns with a rough line at bat but credited with four walks and a single run, while Lopez for Santa Fe kept the Browns quiet until the seventh inning when a burst of offense turned the game. The Ancientas rallied late, but the Browns held on as umpire changes and wild plays peppered the action.
