Engineer loses right foot in mud accident at Trinidad
William H. Carlow, Santa Fe engineer, had his right foot crushed under a locomotive wheel while stopping for a glove at a muddy street crossing in Trinidad. He lives at Raton with his wife and 11 children, and the foot was amputated.
