Fritz Mueller Confirmed Victim Of Tragic Train Death
The young German Fritz Mueller, about 23, who had been jailed in Bernalillo county on a petty theft charge, escaped recently and allegedly rode a Santa Fe freight to Algodones where he was killed by a train. Authorities connect the description of the rider with Mueller, who had been in the U.S. about a year after arriving from Los Angeles. Other items note railway wage changes, public notices, and the plan to drain the Yuma basin sea with willow mattresses and stone weights, per Prof. Hill.

Bank Drafts Versus Post Office Money Orders
Bank drafts offer more advantages than post office money orders. They can be transferred repeatedly by endorsement and are cheaper. Drafts may be examined at the issuing bank, with no red tape or delay, and a duplicate is issued if lost at no extra cost.
