In an interview with Viscount Hayashi they urged Japan to reject the mutual immigration restrictions and sought deletion of the later part of article 2 of the commercial treaty in the proposed revision.

Butte Montana June 26 All girl operators of the Rocky Mountain Hell Telephone company walked out in solidarity with striking linemen from Idaho Utah and Montana. The move threatens to halt state business as replacements from other states are sought and a statewide walkout is anticipated.

The defense has no evidence to refute charges. Several strong witnesses may yet be produced but the investigation nears a close. The attorney general may call no more witnesses. The 160 pages of testimony are described as sensational and garbled by competing papers.
Garabaldi Carlet, an Italian, stabbed a fellow miner named Canmara during a June 26 all night carousal near Valls station, Tucson. Canmara died from a deep abdominal wound as Carlet fled into the hills while a sheriff's search continued.
A volley of bombs exploded in Firlvan Square as crowds gathered, causing numerous deaths and injuries. Police and security forces pursued suspects amid a strong security push, with at least one attacker reportedly killed.
Edward Edgarly, superintendent at the Capote shaft of the Greene Cananea company, was stabbed in the back early today by a former employee. The injured man identified his assailant as Cornelio Valenzuela, who he says threatened revenge after being discharged. He lies in a pool of blood near the camp and is expected to die.
