Tunnel machine claim promises vast tunneling gains

A tunneling machine on display in Boise City Idaho boasts capacity to bore up to 250 feet daily in an eight foot diameter, operated by a single person, reducing mining tunnel costs by 50 to 75 percent. Inventor Themis Denver of Denver, Colorado, describes a circular-ring pit with a central water pipe and twelve fronted boring shafts.
