Foundling creche tragedy and long life by will claim

A grim report describes a foundling creche where a 2 year old child remained alone for hours and infant occupants cried out for food and care. Abbe Bragant’s death followed the matron’s sudden demise and a relative caretaker, 80, collapsed from distress. Later, the infant awkwardly moved to a foundling hospital. The article also notes M. Jean Finot’s claim that longevity is a matter of willpower, arguing people can live to 100 or 150 with proper hygiene and resolve. It mentions a planned statue of Zola in the Tuileries Gardens and reports on Parisian adoption of automobile buses, plus travel ads for low-rate tours to Canadian and northeastern destinations.
