Albuquerque Freight-Rate Move Spurs New Mexico Gain
Police linked a Monday night theft at Antonio Griego camp near Tijeras Avenue to a recurring band. Stolen goods valued around 200 dollars included harness, a new stove, sewing machine parts, and a saddle later recovered beneath a bridge. El Paso merchants fear higher rates but Albuquerque and other New Mexico jobbers expect rate relief from a proposed New Mexico common point freight rate.
