Outstanding Norwegian American named at Little Norway Festival
Knut Thompson was surprised when named Outstanding Norwegian American for 1968 at the Little Norway Festival. Fred Eastaugh of Juneau presented the award, as Robert M. Thorstenson proposed the new honor to become a regular festival feature in future years. Thompson spoke with dignity and emotion after accepting the honor.
