Pharmacist Honored for Alaska Community Service
Lester E. Elkins, longtime Petersburg pharmacist, received a national award from A.H. Robins & Co. in Anchorage for community service. He will tour the company plant in Virginia and has led Cub Scouting, Search & Rescue, March of Dimes and Red Cross efforts, plus served on the Alaska Board and Petersburg City Council.
