Byterians to Dedicate Local Church This Sunday

Two Fishermen Die At Sea In Vansee Accident
News from Kodiak reports the drowning of Martin Anteson and Bruns Svendsen of the Seattle halibut schooner Vansee. The incident occurred the morning of February 19 as the ship fished near Kodiak. Despite rescue attempts, no trace was found. Anderson, 37, left a widow and two children. Svendsen, 24, was single. The wreck damaged gear and hull. a Canadian schooner reportedly lost a man this week.

Wrangell trapping case bound over for assault charge
Bradfield Anderson and Carl Thygesen faced a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon after an altercation with Yukosa over fur possession. They appeared before Commissioner Carroll Causen. Thygesen released on bond while Anderson remained bound over. The incident occurred at Anderson and Thygesen's cabin in Wrangell where both are known figures.

Wrangell Radio Station Interference Clean-Up Planned
S M Quist Alaska officer in charge of the Cable Service announces that once the Wrangell station is installed the focal station’s outlet will be changed to avoid conflicts.
