Petersburg youth killed in Juneau plane accident
Allen Lee 22 a Petersburg High School 1986 graduate who attended Reed College died when a floatplane propeller struck him after takeoff from Sitka bound for Sitka. The accident occurred as pilot James Rinehart attempted an emergency landing in a small harbor near Sitka. The coroner ruled accidental death. Lee's family and community mourn the loss.
