Funeral services for Petersburg fisherman Olaf Tenfjord aged 75 were held at the Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor J. A. Luthro. Pallbearers listed include Jack De Zordo and Bob Lando. Born in Norway, Tenfjord sailed from age 15 and settled in Petersburg after stints on the west coast and Alaska. He owned the fishing vessel Mira from 1988 until selling it recently. survivors include daughter Norma Teenfjord and brother Louie Tenfjord.

A Petersburg fire killed Edward Skeek 44 and his three youngest children Eleanor 12 Myrna 10 and Harlan 8 early Sunday destroying the two story home on Hammer Slough. Mildred 14 survived after leaping from a window. Surviving relatives include Mrs Maggie Skeek and three other daughters. Funeral services were held Tuesday with many relatives attending.
