Speed Boat Capsizes in Port During Demonstration
During a Monday night display near the cannery dock Jim Rhodes and passenger Miss Mjorad capsized the speed boat. They escaped serious injury after being drenched as nearby gas boats and rowboats aided them. Pat Verney of the PRESS stairs aided, rowing victims to shore, while another boat retrieved the craft and towed it to the wharf.
