Judge Folta Dies Suddenly On Outing
U S Judge George Folta, 62, died of a heart attack on June 5 during a hunting trip in the Kakataga area with friends. A longtime jurist in Alaska, he arrived in 1918, joined the bar in 1927, and was appointed district judge in 1947.
