Four candidates compete for the Peters burg Fourth of July Queen title sponsored by local groups including the Chamber of Commerce Alaska Native Sisterhood and Elks Emblem Club. Tickets on sale since last Saturday offer 1000 votes each with crowning set for July 3 at the Firemen's dance. Prizes include a round trip for two to Sun Valley with $100 expense money and a second prize of trips for two to Ketchikan Juneau or Sitka.
