James Byron White 67 Petersburg resident dies
Funeral services for James Byron Barney White 67 longtime Petersburg resident were held at the Elks Lodge with burial in Petersburg Memorial Cemetery. White came to Petersburg in 1934 worked for Pacific American Fisheries then Fryer Machine Works and owned Petersburg Motors until 1968. He was active in Rotary Elks and Masons and served 27 years as a volunteer fireman. Survivors include widow Dorothy two daughters Susan Thomassen and Sandra Edgars four grandchildren two sisters and eight brothers.
