Yulette Fest Planned by Lutheran Church
An old fashioned Yulette Fest will be held in the basement of the Lutheran church Sunday evening after a short service. Everyone will sing carols in English and Norwegian around the Christmas tree with readings by Miss Signe Skronseth in Norwegian. Children will perform musical numbers and the Ladies’ Aid will serve coffee and Christmas goodies.

Town Chorus Carolling Casts Cheer Through Night
The Town Chorus led by Capt George Lloyd went carolling to shut ins and neighbors. Byonis Tragedy At Farragut Bay Claims John Lyons
Tragedy struck the George Lyons family when John Levi Lyons drowned in Farragut Bay on December 1 while his brother Neal survived after cutting hoses to an outboard tank. Neal alerted rescuers as he swam to the Crystal and later notified the Charles W. search vessel. The body was recovered around 3:15 p.m. Saturday, and funeral services were set for 2 p.m. today conducted by Capt. George Lloyd at the Salvation Army chapel.

Music Students Present Christmas Concert at High School
