Deer Harvest Up Shows Wide Increase Over 1954
The deer harvest rose sharply this year with overall kill 50 to 100 percent above 1954. Few does were taken in the last eight days due to earlier favorable conditions and many hunters reaching their ducks limits. In Juneau 65 percent misidentified does for yearling bucks. Petersburg kill reports show varied buck and doe counts with 28 percent of hunters taking 3 bucks. A fuller analysis will follow after all cards are reviewed at the Juneau FWS office.

PTA Presents Vocal Christmas Carol From Town Chorus
