Arson Probe to the Point at Petersburg High School
Petersburg police Captain Jim Lake leads an arson inquiry into a fire at Petersburg High School deemed arson by investigators. A custodian found the blaze around 8:00 am Saturday. plastic bucket accelerant started the fire, which spread to a wall and wood framing before dying. Investigators suspect two or three suspects, possibly teens or young adults, and will continue until an arrest is made.
