Fredrick B Reynolds a Petersburg businessman died Sunday after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Petersburg Elks Lodge Hall with the VFW color guard and the Alaska National Guard firing a military salute. Born in Tacoma July 17 190, he came to Alaska about 1928 and lived in Juneau Skagway and Craig before settling in Petersburg. Survived by wife Violet and stepdaughter Phyllis Richmond and three brothers Ellis C Reynolds Percy E Reynolds and George I Reynolds all present for the services.

Single engine flight diverted to Juneau after engine trouble
