Morten Hofstad Dies Saturday in Petersburg
Morten F Hofstad 82 died Saturday at Petersburg Hospital after several days of failing health. Interment followed Monday at Petersburg Cemetery at 2 pm with Rev Verne Swanson officiating. Survived by brother Myer Hofstad and nephew Richard Hofstad of Scow Bay. Born Helgeland Norway he lived long in Alaska including Wrangell and Fairbanks before settling in Petersburg ten years ago.
