Southern floods moved toward Virginia with 85 deaths and millions in damages. The James River will rise ten to eleven feet above flood stage in Richmond tonight. North Carolina reports 21 deaths, Eastern Tennessee 5, Virginia 5, and Georgia 4 amid record water levels.
Earl N. Ohmer, chairman of the Alaska Game Commission, traveled to Juneau aboard the Black Bear with Wildlife Agent Hosea Sarber and Engineer George Gullafson to confer with Dr. Ira N.
