Regulations approved by President Roosevelt keep last two season rules with a 30 day season and bans on wood ducks canvasbacks ruddy ducks redheads buffleheads swans and Ross geese. Changes include one hunting zone shift higher goose brant limits 5 and coal bag 20, sora rail limit 15, federal duck stamps required for hunters over 16, and in Southeastern Alaska a 10 daily duck bag 15 snipe with 7 am to 4 pm shooting hours and plugs three shots for all birds. Bristol Bay Salmon Pack Surges to 1.434 Million Cases
The Bristol Bay salmon pack topped 1.434 million cases after a late-season surge, surpassing last year by about 40,000. Westward areas trailed 600,000 behind prior year. Nushagak led with over 300,000 from five canneries. Japanese boats seen earlier in Bristol Bay were absent recently.

Territorial Board Approves Fur Farm Funding and School Budgets
