The Territorial Commission on irrigation in Santa Fe approved several applications and withdrawals. C L Ballard seeks 38 320 acres in Chaves county from the Rio Grande grant. Cahoon et al withdraw 50 000 acres. American Valley Water Storage Co. seeks 15 000 acres in Socorro county with contracts to follow upon proper plats and engineer affidavits. White Mountain Irrigation Co. approved for 15 060 acres in Otero county pending engineer feasibility documents.

Roden Sowa Endorses Delegate in Bernalillo Meeting
In Albuquerque on September 12 the Bernalillo county Republican convention met at the courthouse and elected delegates to the Territorial convention at Raton on October 10.
