A 1925 bulletin outlines New Mexico federal highway aid as of August 31 1925. Since 1917 through 1925 1081.3 miles cost 8.718 million with federal share 4.914 million. As of June 30 1925 134.7 miles cost 1.475 million with federal 987 thousand. Projections show 259.9 miles under construction costing 2.848 million with federal 1.835 million. Death of W. H. Sellars in Alamogordo
W. H. Sellars aged 46 died at his Alamogordo home on Tuesday November 10 after months of stomach cancer. Funeral services were held at Geren & Leadinghouse chapel conducted by Rev. Fulbright. Interment followed at Mount Vista cemetery. He came from Oklahoma 18 years ago, lived in Portales and Capitan, moved to Alamogordo in 1920 and worked as an oil company dealer. He leaves a widow and four children Irvin of Mexico, Mrs. Lewis Cummins of Capitan, and Edwin and Doris of Alamogordo, who attended the funeral.

Funeral for Juarez victim held in Alamogordo
Ed Jones 47, a Southern Pacific Railway worker in Alamogordo, was killed in the Tivoli hall collapse near Juarez Mexico. The Odd Fellows Lodge No 25 conducted the 10 am service, Jones had 18 years with the railroad, left a life insurance policy and Oklahoma farm, and had no known close relatives.
