John Hobson long employed as a city night watchman was arrested Tuesday on a Texas cattle stealing charge from years ago. Hobson denies the indictment and awaits Hood County Texas sheriff arrival, with bail posted until his arrival Saturday.
About 150 Mescalero agency students from the Indian school rode in two extra coaches to Alamogordo. They spent time touring the city and marveled at the train ride for the first time. Agent W McD Lutterell led the group with teachers assisting.
