John Evans Pioneer Passes On in New Mexico
John W. Evans 64 died at his La Luz home after years of illness. A song service was held, with Rev McCullough officiating at James Canyon cemetery. A Baptist church member for 20 years, he came to New Mexico in 1885 and оставался в James Canyon. Survived by widow, two daughters Mrs Neal and Mrs Dobbs, two sons Lawrence and Jesse, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild, six sisters.

Otero County farmers with Commissioner loans may reamortize to longer terms easing annual principal payments.
