Passing of Mrs Mal Walters Funeral Rites Held
Funeral services for the late Mrs Mal Walters were conducted by Rev Ed LeBreton at the Geren Leadinghaus Chapel with hymns by Mrs Cross and Mrs Harvey Chappell and piano by Mrs Clifford. Interment followed at Mount Vista cemetery. She died after a two year illness leaving husband and two sons Edward Jr in Miami Ariz and W M Jr in Alamogordo plus her mother four brothers and three sisters. The Holden family were early Southern New Mexico settlers.

Two Major Forest Fires Subdued After Quick Action
