The plan shows a building square ringed by a drive, an outer home area, 35 duplex buildings totaling 70 units with 1 to 4 bedrooms, fully paved streets, curbs and gutters, and future Fifth Street expansion. The Joseph H. Gaylord Co. of Ft Worth prepared the drawing for the Public Housing Authority of Alamogordo.

State Police Captain A. H. Hathaway, long stationed at Alamogordo, won total disability compensation in aDistrict Court suit in Albuquerque against the New Mexico State Police and Mountain States Mutual. He receives 30 dollars a week for 550 weeks plus medical and hospital expenses after claiming a heart attack occurred January 8 during employment. The case lasted nearly two days with Hathaway fainting in court and later arriving on a stretcher in pajamas. he has been homebound since the attack.

First Lieutenant Parke H. Grubb husband of former Carolyn Sutton, daughter of the Suttons of Catalina Lane, has been transferred to Olmsted Air Force Base Middletown Pennsylvania.
