Last of 1812 War Veterans Hiram Cronk Dies at 105
Hiram Cronk, the last survivor of the 1812 war, died at his Dunn Brook, New York home at age 105. Born April 29, 1800, Cronk served briefly in the 157th infantry and later held a federally planned funeral in New York City.
