The June term of the District Court for Otero County will convene at the Court House in Alamogordo on Monday June 6. The docket includes many criminal cases continued from prior terms and numerous civil matters. Death of Mrs. C. L. Wolfinger in Los Angeles
News reached Alamogordo of the sudden death of Mrs. C. L. Wolfinger wife of G. J. Wolfinger at her Los Angeles home. She was the sister of Senator Helm O. Bursum of Socorro and mother to their only child who left for Los Angeles after the news. Interment was in the Bursum plot at Socorro. Born 1870 in Fort Dodge Iowa she moved with her brother to Colorado and later Socorro New Mexico before marrying Mr. Wolfinger in 1891. They later ran a Alamogordo mercantile business and she moved to Los Angeles in 1912 for schooling and health reasons remaining there while visiting Alamogordo occasionally to oversee property.

Dudley snake bite emergency kit issued to forest staff

Dr Eber D McKinley of Alamogordo died at his home on Michigan Avenue Tuesday May 17 1932 at 3 00 pm after a fall following a car accident earlier in May 1932 He had served as mayor county health officer and long time physician and was survived by his widow son Don Kathryn and Eber Jr among others The funeral is set for May 22 1932 at 3 30 pm in the High School Auditorium with interment in Athens Ohio.
