Detroit March 30 Henry Ford announced prices for the new Ford eight and four cylinder cars. The V eight will sell from 460 to 650 dollars, the four cylinder models cost 50 dollars less than their eight cylinder counterparts across 14 models. Ford said the prices prove a low cost for an eight cylinder car.
The Civic League will repeat two one act plays at the High School Auditorium in the third week of April with a small admission charge. Two new books, God's Good Earth by Pearl Buck and Mary's Neck by Booth Tarkington, have been ordered for the day shelf and should arrive soon.

Mrs. Oscar Shenfield of Alamogordo was elected as Martha in the New Mexico Grand Lodge Order Eastern Star at Las Cruces last week. It marks the first time an Alamogordo woman has held a grand lodge position in the order.
